I know I haven't been here in a while....

....life's been crazy. New job. Three classes. Kids. Summer. My classes will be finished for the term in three days. I promise to post all about everything!! Meanwhile, over the weekend, procrastination led me to this challenge on mamasaysom. She really got me when she said, "You will not always be the age you are today, and someday you, or someone who loves you will want to look at these pictures." Well, it made me feel a little better about being only a year from fifty (oh, I couldn't even type the numbers!)...

Edited to add: Just do it. Take a look at some of the replies at mamasaysom. They are all unique, just like you! I just decided to do this Sunday afternoon after getting back from meeting Suzy and her family. There was no planning involved. No getting ready. I have a regular, old, Kodak digital camera. Nothing fancy. I took it in my bedroom as it has the best late afternoon light. I took about 60 shots. A lot of not-so-great ones until I started feeling a little more relaxed. Actually, I think I was more like, I've got to hurry this up! I'm pleased because they're photos (all of them, even the not-so-great ones) that my kids will have. I'm not in front of the camera much, so it's not unusual to have an entire heap of holiday pictures and not one with me in it. I'm sure many of you are the same! Please leave a link to your photo(s)!!
