Happy New Year!!
And best wishes for a wonderful 2008!! Claire, Will and I rang in the new year last night by playing lots games. We had snacks and bubbly apple cider at midnight. It was a lot of fun!
I have been waiting for this day to come. Today is the day that the Illinois Smoking Ban goes into effect!! As of today, smoking will be illegal in restaurants, bars, nightclubs, workplaces, and all public buildings. Smoking will also be banned within 15 feet of building entrances, exits, and windows. Whoooohoooooooo!!!!
No resolutions for me. Honestly, I try to do better everyday. Certainly that doesn't always happen, but it is the goal. I figure, why wait until the new year or the new month, etc? If you really want to make a change, you can do it right now! Right?

Happy New Year... I'm all caught up on posts now. Loved your table and the gingerbread house and your goodies- you made those truffles???(awesome!).
We have the pickle ornament, too, but I'm holding onto it for a few more years till the kids are a little more interested.
It seems like France moved faster on a smoking ban than Illinois! Back when we toyed with the idea of leaving California, the smoking issue was always one of the top reasons to stay.
