Remembering and honoring...151/365

This is a composite made with a self portrait that I took today and a photo that I took a few years ago when I visited The Wall for the second time. John Guldan was the brother of a girl I knew back in high school. That visit to The Wall, I made a point to find where his name was located. On my first visit to the wall, because of a few twists of fate I learned of Leo Speicher and his fallen comrades, William Francis Brooks and Donald James Pierce, Jr., and they are all particularly in my good thoughts today. I am thinking about and praying for all of our veterans - both those who have given their lives as well as those who came home - and all the service men and women who still serve. The sons of my very good friends, Jody and Lynn, are particularly in my good thoughts every day. For Flickr Group Roulette - Memorials
And I also did a Bench Monday shot - Memorial Day Edition...
