There's a reason we're here...{8/52}

I've been wanting to explore this old barn building near my work for so long now. It's practically across the (big) street from where I work, but every day when I leave, I'm 1) too rushed to stop, and 2) afraid I'll be spotted by someone I work with. I happened to be by here this afternoon, so I thought I'd stop. I had to park my car on the side of the busy street, right by a sign that says "No stopping, standing or parking," and walk across a semi-muddy corn field. I started out further out, but as I didn't hear any sounds, I walked in a bit closer. This isn't entirely what I had envisioned, but it was super windy and I was getting really cold. I may try coming back sometime and get some shots inside if I can.

I had a really great day today, but then had to get home because I have a boat-load of studying and papers to do for my class. I'll be spending tomorrow working on that as well.

For Flickr Group Roulette - Selfie Squared
And for Cliche Saturday because barn pictures are so cliche! ;)

Just because this pretty much sums up what I was feeling today (I only included a portion of the lyrics)...

♫ Our Lives - The Calling ♫

See the truth all around
Our faith can be broken
And our hands can be bound
But open our hearts and fill up the emptiness
With nothing to stop us, is it not worth the risk?

'Cause these are the days worth living
These are the years we're given
And these are the moments
These are the times
Let's make the best out of our lives
