Beginning of a new week....

And it's about time for an update, huh? Well, it was a good weekend and we made some progress around here, too. First, here's a shot of one thing that I accomplished. I had to take a picture to share as no one around here can appreciate it. I'm sure that you all know how that is. Now I can stop opening the door to admire it and just look at the picture on my blog.....



Another thing that was accomplished, in a joint effort by all, was that we were able to get the garage organized just enough to be able to get my car in! I can't even remember how long it's been since that car has seen the inside of that garage! The night we got it in (Friday), it was storming and it was so nice to be able to have it inside and be able to unload groceries without getting soaked!




Chelsea and Claire both had sleepovers on Friday and everything went really well. Chelsea had orientation for her new job at Jewel (the grocery store) early on Saturday morning and when she got back, we made a big breakfast for everyone with pancakes, eggs and potatoes. Then on Saturday night, Tom came over for dinner and I made the taco ring from Pampered Chef. It was really good to see Tom. Then he offered to take Claire and Will back to his house to have them stay overnight so that Chelsea could go over to her friend's house while I was working. Tom had them most of the day on Sunday so that I could sleep. It was a really nice weekend on top of a pretty good week last week.

This morning, I'm taking Princess to the vet to be spayed and declawed. They'll have her overnight and I'll pick her up tomorrow, late morning.



Also this morning, I have to head to school early as I have an appointment at the auto shop on campus to have my door lock fixed. That said, I've really got to run! Hope everyone has a good day! And, please, let me know that you're reading my blog!
