Cheesecake Squares
I've made these for work several times and everyone absolutely loves them. I've got all the ingredients and I think I'll make them for the kids. They always look at me when I'm making them and say "are those for work?" :( I also promised my friend, Francesca, that I'd post. Enjoy!
Cheesecake Squares
2 pkgs. crescent rolls
2 pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 egg yolk
1 t lemon juice
1 t vanilla
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg white
Lay 1 package of crescent rolls on bottom of lightly greased & floured 9x13 pan (I just spray it with Pam). Cream together: cheese, sugar, vanilla, lemon juice and egg yolk. Pour over dough, place second package of crescent rolls on top (I spray a sheet of waxed paper with Pam, then lay out the crescent rolls, spread out to fit the pan, pinching triangles together, then I lay it on top). Beat egg white until foamy. Brush on top and bake in 375 degree oven 20 minutes until browned (check after 15 and see how it is). When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
