My circle....

I'm almost done reading Eat, pray, love: one woman's search for everything across Italy, India and Indonesia, by Elizabeth Gilbert. I read this the other day and absolutely loved it. The first line is something her friend said to her and following is her response.

" 'What would I do if you never came here?'
But I was always coming here. I thought about one of my favorite Sufi poems, which says that God long ago drew a circle in the sand exactly around the spot where you are standing right now. I was never not coming here. This was never not going to happen." (page 280)

I've been thinking about the circle that God had drawn for me and that I am standing in it right now, too. I continue to pray for the awareness and willingness that I continue to find myself in my circle.
