Busy weekend...
It was a busy weekend and I am trying my best to get the kids and myself to bed early or on time tonight. Saturday was Claire's Chorus Contest. They performed beautifully and won first prize.
Saturday night, I met a friend of mine and some friends of hers at an Irish bar. It was a spur-of-the-moment good time.
I spent yesterday at my brother's bakery bagging lamb cakes for Easter. Besides my brother who owns the bakery, my other brother was there and so was one of my sisters. It was a lot of work and it was fun hanging out with them. There was a lot of "remember when..." stories. Retelling family stories that I've heard more than a few times already, stories I'd never heard before, and things that I did and absolutely do not remember! It's fun listening to stories from when we were kids.
P.S. I didn't get to bed early or even on time! Maybe tomorrow night!

Family stories are always so interesting to listen to. I never remember any of them, so I find it fun to listen.
Yeah, family storied rock. My sis and bro and I do the "remember when" thing when we get together and my parents just shake their heads, thanking the good Lord that they didn't know what really went on when they weren't there:)
