The day started out okay, but just went downhill from there. Lots of work stuff, an email from my son's teacher, good news that seemed canceled out by bad news in the same breath. I came home ready to wave the white flag in surrender. For most of it, all I can do is surrender. It is what it is. I will wake to a new day. And I'm sure that tomorrow will see me smiling. I just can't muster one up right now. So, this is me right now.
