The furnace went out last night. I took a personal day today to have it repaired. The temperature in the house got down to 57. Good thing it's not super-cold outside! Even with multiple layers of clothing, I was still freezing so I jumped under the covers while I waited for the repairman to get here. He has now been here and gone. Furnace is back working and I'm heading back under the covers until the house warms up. Then, I need to get ready to head to work at my Friday night job. The kids will be home from school in a couple of hours. It will be nice to be home for them for a change. Like it used to be.
