...her bodyless face floated among the headstones in the cemetery when there was a full moon.

The days are getting shorter really quickly now. I didn't expect it would be this dark by the time we got to this cemetery on the way home from tutoring tonight. My trusty assistant and I played around with long exposures, flashlights (we should have brought a more powerful one) and my flash. I was trying to capture movement with the long exposure, but those all came out too blurred, a more powerful flashlight would have helped a lot, I think. Then I saw this shot, where all you can see is my head and no body. The only things I did to this was use a graduated filter on the top and on the bottom to reduce the exposure a bit in Lightroom and sharpened in Photoshop. My head was a result of movement, flash and flashlight. I also love that I captured the big dipper perfectly between the trees!
