I pulled my car over in front of the closed parking lot across the street from this lake/forest preserve, so that I'm parallel to the main street and can see the lake from my window. I'm sitting in my car adjusting the settings on my camera and taking a couple of test shots to see how they were working. All of a sudden, a policy car pulls next to me. I had my window down because of taking shots and he rolled his side window down and asked if everything was okay. I did not want him to chase me away and miss my shot, so thinking quickly, I told him that I had pulled over to make a phone call. He said, "oh, that's okay. I just wanted to be sure you weren't having trouble or anything. I give you a lot of credit for pulling over to make a call." I said thanks and he went on his way. And I went on mine, walking across the street to take this shot. The sky looked really cool tonight and I hoped to capture it with a long exposure.
It looks much better large and on black.
