the times they are a-changin'...{14/52}

I had a very nice, quiet Mother's Day today. I still have a paper to turn in for my class that I worked on. I took a break late this afternoon to go to an antique store and to this old train station down the block from it. I picked up this vintage leather suitcase for cheap, but my big score was a baby scale to use for a newborn prop. I don't really do newborns yet, but a good friend of mine from work is pregnant and I plan to take newborn pictures for her. The scale is in near perfect condition and it's from the1940's. I've been on the lookout for one for a while, but haven't found one until now.
Then I walked down the street to this old train station to shoot my weekly SP. I was planning on a shot that included more of the old station, but I was having trouble with my remote so I had to bring my camera in closer. I drew a lot of attention for doing my selfie, but I'm used to it and actually find it amusing.
My two younger kids are at their dad's this weekend and I was talking to my 16-yo daughter on the phone tonight. I asked her to help choose which processing she liked best and she chose this one (alternate in the comments). Then I asked her to suggest a song to go with this shot and without hesitating, she said ♫ Bob Dylan - Times They are a-Changin ♫
So...thanks, babe!! I love you!! ♥
