I'm feeling so hip.....

Yesterday, I took Chelsea and her bff to the mall and as you may or may not know, I hate shopping. So while I waited for them to shop, I went to my favorite place - Starbucks. Surprise, surprise, right? While I was relaxing there, listening to my new iPod shuffle (which, thankfully, allowed me to tune out this totally loud, business-related convo taking place right next to me that would have otherwise been so annoying), I finally got a chance to sit and read my birthday gift from my friend, Mary (thanks again, Mary!). She sent me a subscription to Wired Magazine and it is so cool! I'd never read it before and now I have and I feel soooooo hip now! Very interesting magazine - I recommend you check it out! After we got home, I did end up going shopping (I had put some things on hold while I was at work). I had some birthday money and needed a few things. I'm so ready for my new school next week!! I got two pairs of jeans, a pair of khaki's, a sweater and four tops (all the same, different colors - that's how I shop!).

One pair of jeans was a Levi's 542...aren't they cute?




Next was a pair of Levi's 515......they're totally cute, too!




Then I got this pair of khaki pants...they are so soft, which you obviously can't tell from the pictures...

This sweater which I wouldn't have even considered, but Katie (Chelsea's bff) told me to try it on and get it. It's so cute!


And finally, several colors of this ribbed tee....


Okay, I don't know why I thought you'd be interested in seeing what I purchased. I was just so excited about finally getting some new things! My last pair of new jeans are four years old and I've been wearing hand-me-downs of Chelsea's that are too low and too long and ripped up at the bottoms. Now I have to decide what to wear on my first day of school. Hope the kids like me!! hehe!
