Bench Monday: heavy metal edition...347/365

When I picked the FGR theme for today, I had a couple of spots in mind that I knew there was usually some heavy equipment, but I would have had to stop on my way to work to take my shot. Well, as usual, I was running late so I couldn't stop and work is too far to go to either of those places at lunch. So, at lunchtime I headed out on a search for some heavy metal to stand on. I passed a new construction area with a ton of huge equipment, but there happened to be a police car sitting right at the entrance running radar. I drove around and went by again, but he was still there.

I discovered this place adjacent to, and tucked back from, the gas station on the corner right by work. There was a fence around the area, but there was an opening that one could walk right in, so I did. It was so cold (around 11F, plus wind chill), even though it was nice and sunny. I took a few quick shots and headed back to my car and then back to work.

Happy Bench Monday!!
