Not really the end...365/365

...but just another beginning. I look forward to 2011 and all the possibilities. I will be open to any road put in front of me, whether travel will be by train, plane, auto or my own two feet. My resolution for 2011 will be to do something different. One thing. Different than my usual. Really out of my comfort zone different. Take a chance different. I'll be sure to let you know what that was! View bigger here.

I didn't get a chance to post this yesterday. We had unseasonably warm weather yesterday (50's F), but it rained much of the day. I finally got out very late afternoon, after the rain had stopped, to take my last image for my 365 project then headed out to my mom's to celebrate NYE with my family. It was a fun night and most of us spent the night there.

Wow! I can't believe I finished this! A photo a day, every single day, for a year! I'd like to thank Jes for suggesting this and encouraging me to do it and I'd like to thank Lauren (an in-real-life friend) who started with me and kept going and encouraging me throughout the year! She, too, didn't miss a day and finished her 365 project yesterday as well. Congrats, Lauren!

I didn't realize when I started what a rewarding (as well as challenging) project this would be. I didn't know about Bench Mondays or Facedown Tuesdays or FGR or TRP or the other great groups. I was going to do some statistics, but haven't had time and my computer is really jacked at the moment, taking me at least six times as long to do anything on here. So, the short list is that I did 37 Bench Mondays , 26 Facedown Tuesdays and 30 were Explored (crazy that 8 of those were FDT's!). I lost count trying to tally up my trespassing, but it was quite a lot. ;) It's been an amazing year with many ups and downs, but the year has definitely ended on an up note and for that, I am grateful. I really appreciated the support here as I pushed through my most difficult period. I'm grateful for everything that I learned about photography and processing, but mostly what I have learned about myself - everything I am capable of, and more.

I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to view any of my crazy images, faved them and/or took the time to post a comment. Every view, fav and comment was a little kick in the pants to keep going and I really appreciate it.

It's going to be weird to not have to take a photo of myself today. If you've completed a 365 and decided not to do another one, did you need to ween yourself off? Maybe I'll try a 52 week project...

I'm so glad you have found this project rewarding! I can't wait to see what you decide to do in 2011. I loved seeing what you would come up with for your pictures and so did ADP.
