Better late than never.....
It's been too long since I've posted. Been in a funk lately. I'm absolutely not having any regrets, I've just been overwhelmed with everything. I've been working six days a week and with school and home life and responsibilities on top of that, well, it's just a lot.
I'm finishing my second latte of the morning and listening to Rascal Flatts' Life is a Highway (click on the video below to listen to it, the video is not the original for the song, but it was the only way that I could find to post the song) and it's starting to give me a kick-start. It's hard to listen to that song and not get pumped up! I have lots to do - too much to mention - but I think I may concentrate on working on my bedroom. My goal is to make it a sort-of haven and at the moment that seems like a priority.
Oh, I missed posting about my new granddaughter. Oh, don't worry!! She's a computerized granddaughter!! Chelsea brought her home for her parenting class that she's taking this semester at school. OMG she was sooooo annoying when she cried! I was glad to go in to work that night! Chelsea tells me that she will also have to bring her home for an entire weekend. I told her to make sure that it's her dad's weekend! hehe!
Here's "Aunt" Claire with her....
And here's the "mom" with her baby girl...
But exactly what I predicted happened. When I got home from work in the morning, this is what I found...
Baby girl out in the garage!! LOL! Chelsea is a light sleeper with no patience at all for noises at night. She kicks Sugar out for snoring and Princess out for making too much noise! Apparently the baby was crying and wouldn't be quiet, so Chelsea put her out in the garage! I would have been surprised if I had come home to find her in Chelsea's room!
That's it for now! I'll keep you posted on my weekend progress - or lack thereof! ;)

Sorry to hear about your funk, Cyn. You've got a lot on your plate. You're my hero and a true superwoman! I can't believe you hold it together so well! You'll have to post a picture of your room when you're done. I agree; I think it should be a priority for you!
LOL at the grandbaby! I think I may have been tempted to do the same as Chelsea in her place. :)
